Love Stinks! – A Farmer’s Love

Beth knew that her husband

Was sometimes full of it.

But all the same her Bruce

Thought this would be a hit.

He prepared his tractor

And set up the spreader,

One cold and wintry day

Thinking of things warmer.

.

He worked the pure snow field,

Care in each turn and line,

Thinking of his true love,

The lass for which he pined.

Simple in its own way,

He thought he might woo her,

With a big Valentine

outlined with fresh manure.
